My Question

How can interactive rooms inspire kids under eight to expand their imagination by the touch of their hands?

This is suitable for kids under eight that are creative and visual learners. Having a room like this for them will make them curious and want to try it out themselves. This will help them expand their imagination which will help in later life. Kids under eight want it to be hands-on, make them feel magical when something happens when they touch the wall. It needs to be engaging, easy to understand to interact with by touching, swiping and drawing. This interactive room is a place for them to learn something they haven't seen before. It is like an activity for them to figure out what will happen next and see the outcome. This will help them view and interpret things differently while enjoying the experience.

Help kids to be imaginative with the touch of their fingers

This interactive wall idea was created by me with research.
This is a room that is located in a museum or an art gallery, kids can go in the room and touch the wall.
Options
  • Draw on the wall
  • Have their mark imprinted on the wall for a couple of seconds (inside the hand or around the hand)
  • The more hands touching the wall the more colours appear
  • There are objects on the wall that is needed to be touch to be activated (sound or colour)
  • Making a story come to life by the touch of your finger
